People exceptionally talented in the Connectedness theme have faith in the links among all things. They believe there are few coincidences and that almost every event has meaning.
One of my favorite quotes is a lyric from Blue Scholars - "Things happen for a reason they say, but I say there's a reason things happen." For me, the interconnectedness of events, concepts, experiences, and people is not an ambiguous belief but a reality to be discovered.

This sense of interconnection can be the feeling of empathy and care for other people and causes, the understanding of how history and shared identities frame how we experience the world, or simply discovering commonalities and differences in music, language, and food.

An experience that has stuck with me from childhood is the feeling of standing on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the Pacific ocean, and realizing my own insignificance in the vastness of the world, while simultaneously feeling incredible significance from being a part of and witness to that vastness.
People exceptionally talented in the Learner theme have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. The process of learning, rather than the outcome, excites them.
People exceptionally talented in the Context theme enjoy thinking about the past. They understand the present by researching its history.
People exceptionally talented in the Input theme have a need to collect and archive. They may accumulate information, ideas, artifacts or even relationships.
People exceptionally talented in the Strategic theme create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues.
